About Blessed Herbs
Until mid-2011, Blessed Herbs was owned and operated by Michael and Martha Volchok and their family, and is located at Oakham in the rural upland region of Massachusetts, USA. Since 1985 they have been providing over 600 premium quality bulk herbs and herbal products to herbalists, health professionals, herbal manufacturers, retailers and individuals in the United States and abroad.
In mid-2011, the Volchok family sold their equity in the busuness to Iceland Health – a world player in the distribution of high quality health products – to allow them to focus on their core business without being distracted by the day-to-day business management.
The company’s herbs come from their own network of wildcrafters and organic growers known to the Volchoks personally. Their wildcrafters gather the herbs from the wilds of nature in areas free from pollution at the height of their potency and with awareness as to correct species and ecological balance. Their certified organic growers cultivate without the use of synthetic fertilisers, herbicides or pesticides and take care to enrich the soil naturally.
The entire Blessed Herbs facility is certified organic by Quality Assurance International (QAI).
The herbal cleansing and health maintenance products for which the Volchok family are renowned was introduced in 2001. Today their Internal Cleansing Kit™ and Colon Cleansing Kit™ are routinely used by health practitioners and individuals the world over.
Master Herbalist, Martha Volchok AHG is a gifted and meticulous herbalist who has never approached her work form the point of view of “fixing what’s broken” – but always from the perspective of “what is healthy?”
Put simply, that is what Blessed Herbs is all about – to help you restore and maintain your personal health.
