About Us
Hi,
My name is Roger Harcourt, known in this aspect of my life as the Tea and Tummy Man, a name that came out of a discussion I was having with a friend about what I am doing these days.
I had been talking to her about how excited I was finding it to be having the whole new world (for me!) of herbs and their uses in helping people in a way that was different from, but not exclusive of, traditional western style medicine. I had been introduced to the Blessed Herbs colon cleanse through another friend and had found that yet another friend was part of a family that produces a full range of organic herbs in the highlands of Tasmania.
I had been looking for something to do that was useful on the one hand, but that did not take me back to the “normal” world of a nine-to-five job and it occurred to me that I could do that by establishing a markets-based business and working directly with people who were on the same journey as me. So, in June 2009, the Tea and Tummy Man was born.
Before I knew it, I was off and running, firstly at the Eumundi Markets and, for a time, the Tewantin Marina market as well. Then back to Brisbane to what is my base now, the organic markets at Northey Street, Windsor. Since then, I have also established myself at the Big Pineapple Markets on the Sunshine Coast.
It didn’t take long before people were coming to me and asking to buy the products on-line – and so, this website was born.
So, here you will find my range of organic dried herbs, created by Highland Herbs Tasmania, together with their special purpose blends and the Highland Herbs range of essential oils.

You will also find a range of cleansing kits and dietary supplements from Blessed Herbs in the United States. They are all organic herbs or organic herbal extracts and have been chosen because I have found there is simply nothing to compare with them anywhere else.

People who are familiar with my market stands will be looking for organic wheatgrasss, which I sell in trays, bags of frozen shots or single shots, and seed. These products are not available in the shopping cart, as they are not mailable. However, if you wish to place an order for collection from the Big Pineapple on a Saturday or Northey Street on a Sunday, simply email me (through the “contact us” page) and I can have it ready for you.
In mid-2010 I was contacted by the Choui Fong Tea Company, growers of organically certified green, oolong and papaya leaf tea based in northern Thailand. I visited their plantations shortly afterwards and very much liked what I found. They are a family company committed to producing high quality teas with full organic certification.

I hope you enjoy your experience with the Tea and Tummy Man, whether on line or at the markets, and that you find things that are helpful to you in my range. If you can’t find something you are looking for, drop me a line through the “contact us” page and I’ll see what I can do.

Please know that I love to talk about these products and am only too happy to help you at any time.
Go well,
Roger
